Blak Markets returns to The Rocks for one day only

The Blak Markets are an established, ethical Indigenous market and social enterprise that celebrates the work of First Nation small business owners.

This one-day Blak Markets event includes:

  • 20 unique Indigenous stalls.

  • A Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony.

  • Traditional Indigenous dance

  • Weaving workshop open to the public.

  • Kids plant talks and cultual workshops for children

Shop original, authentic and affordable artworks, one-of-a-kind handcrafted homewares and jewellery as well as delicious Aboriginal inspired food and refreshments. Enjoy the markets knowing that 100% of profits made are going back into Aboriginal communities.

10.00 am - Markets open

10:30am - Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony

10:30am-3:30pm - Free weaving workshop

11am - Dance Performance by Gawura Cultural Immersions

12:00pm - Kids dance and ochre workshop

1.30pm -Dance Performance by Gawura Cultural Immersions

4pm - Market closes
