National Indigenous Art Fair 2026

Festival Info

The National Indigenous Art Fair will return to Gadigal Land at The Cutaway, Barangaroo, from 3–5 July 2026. Award-winning ideas and innovations will be showcased by Indigenous artists, designers and makers from remote art centres across the country. Each community will present a unique range of handcrafted and limited-edition pieces created using locally sourced materials, natural fibres, natural dyes, and the distinctive artistic style of their region.

Over the two-day fair, NIAF will come alive with art, performances, panel discussions, bushfood, and a communal weaving circle.

The ethical marketplace will feature more than 50 stallholders from remote Art Centres and Sydney’s Blak Markets, offering art, handmade jewellery, homewares, food and more. Every purchase directly supports the artists and their First Nations communities.

Visitors can also enjoy cooking demonstrations, participate in workshops, and experience live music and dance performances throughout the event.
