The Blak Markets are an established, ethical Indigenous market and social enterprise that celebrates the work of First Nation small business owners.
This one-day Blak Markets event includes:
Indigenous-owned Market Stalls
Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony
Traditional Dance Performance
Singing Performance
Free Weaving Workshop for the public
Children’s Dancing and Workshop
Shop original, authentic and affordable artworks, one-of-a-kind handcrafted homewares and jewellery as well as delicious Aboriginal inspired food and refreshments. Enjoy the markets knowing that 100% of profits made are going back into Aboriginal communities.
Randwick City Council is proud to support the Blak Markets, a partnership that’s been going strong since 2014. Our City has a deep Aboriginal heritage, with the La Perouse community maintaining an unbroken connection to Country. Events like the Blak Markets help support First Nations artists and small businesses, strengthen the local economy, and build a culturally rich, healthy community.

Catch the 390X from Bondi Junction - La Perouse, bus stop is ‘Anzac Parade Terminus’ which is less than a 2 min walk to our event.
Car:
There is plenty of parking around the Anzac Parade loop, however, the weekends when through summer, parking becomes extremely limited.
